The Curiosity Approach
On Monday evening Tracy and Katy attended a valuable training session on The Curiosity Approach. Tracy describes the evening: “Attending the training evening was enjoyable and beneficial. At Watermead we have always used natural resources and, as a baby room practitioner, I wanted to learn more about how to implement the approach whilst keeping the children safe with small items and loose parts. The course gave me many ideas: how to help children in preparing them for their school education, how to develop skills for life by risk taking, how to encourage children so that they not only learn and develop skills but be proud of their achievements, ensuring children are nurtured in their environment. I gained a lot of ideas and I intend to put these into place in baby room 2, I would highly recommend this course”
