Longcliffe Teddy Bear Picnic
Continuing our close links with Longcliffe Nursing Home several Pre-School children walked very nicely with their teddy bears to Longcliffe for a teddy bear picnic in the sunshine. We spent time with our elderly friends singing songs together and then we played hunt the teddy around the grounds. We were all so very proud of our teddies, a couple of the children told their friends the name of the teddies “Suzie” and “Bunny”!
After a lot of fun activities, we all sat down together and enjoyed our picnics and juice.
To end our visit, we were introduced to “Nanny Panton”!
Nanny Panton is a knitted old lady complete with hat and apron. Nanny Panton is very interested in our nursery life, so we brought her back to Watermead and we are making a diary with photos of our nursery ready to take back to Longcliffe!
A very happy day, thank you so much for having us.
We look forward to seeing you again soon.
