Resident Artist Naomi explains the day:

To celebrate St Patrick’s Day the children in Pre-School enjoyed a day full of Irish crafts, using the iconic shamrocks as inspiration. They created cards to send home and practiced their writing skills by signing their own names. The children also enjoyed getting messy and using their hand prints to make shamrocks.

In the art room we also watched a short video about St Patrick and why we remember him on this special day. We finished the day by using green card and lolly pop sticks to make shamrocks, the children then decorated the leaves with sparkles and colour.
